Nearly five years ago this beautiful lady and I moved to Victoria together in search of people, places and things beyond our small town - but life had other plans in store for us.
As soon as we moved away, I started dating someone from back home who had a best friend who happened to have a thing for my new roommate... Long story short, we ended up moving back home, went to university, landed great jobs and fell in love.
It's funny how sometimes you need to move away, only to come back home and find everything you were looking for to begin with.
The rest is history, and these two are just as adorable as they were five years ago.
